2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Contact and product inquiries: your name, email address, selected subject, message and, where relevant, the product about which you are asking.
  • Distributor applications: your full name, company name, business email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, city, website and information you provide about your business.
  • Business communications: information contained in emails, calls, documents and follow-up communications relating to a possible or existing commercial relationship.
  • Comments: if comments are enabled on the website, the information entered in the comment form together with technical anti-spam information such as IP address and browser user agent.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring page, pages visited, date and time, and basic server/security logs.
  • A one-way hash derived from the IP address may be temporarily used for approximately one minute to prevent repeated or automated form submissions.
  • Language preference, display preference and temporary interface choices stored through cookies, local storage or session storage.
  • Analytics and interaction information if analytics services are enabled.

We do not use a distributor application as a guarantee of appointment, exclusivity or acceptance. Applications are evaluated by our authorised commercial team.

6. International Data Transfers

Because AGIVA operates internationally and uses global technology providers, personal data may be processed in Türkiye or another country. Where a transfer is subject to KVKK, GDPR or another applicable law, we use the required legal mechanism and appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, approved standard contracts or explicit consent where legally necessary.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

  • ordinary contact and product inquiries are normally retained for up to two years after the last meaningful communication;
  • unsuccessful distributor applications are normally retained for up to three years so we can document the evaluation and consider future opportunities;
  • records connected with an active distributor, customer or supplier relationship are retained for the duration of that relationship and for the period required by tax, commercial, accounting and limitation laws;
  • security logs and temporary anti-spam data are retained for a shorter period unless needed to investigate abuse or a security incident.

We may retain information longer where required by law, a regulator, a legal claim or a valid preservation obligation. Data that is no longer required is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with applicable law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential or sensitive information through ordinary website forms.

Under KVKK, you may exercise your rights under Article 11. Where GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. In Türkiye, complaints may be submitted to the Personal Data Protection Authority after following the applicable application procedure.

10. Children

This is a professional and B2B website and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly request personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

11. Third-Party Websites

The website contains links to WhatsApp, social networks, video platforms, map providers, distributors and other third-party websites. Those parties control their own privacy practices, and their policies apply after you visit or interact with their services.
